The activities we indulge in during the course of our life become vital in shaping who we are. Needless to say, I am no different. Over the years, every activity that I have indulged in has helped me become a better version of myself.
When the pandemic struck and a lockdown was imposed, I was contacted by Empower Pragati, the NGO where I had been a vocational trainer, to help them extend their training services seamlessly, from a distance. I used my technical knowledge and spent 10 hrs/week for 2 months to integrate the Classplus platform which helped them conduct online teaching classes, first time ever!
During the same time, I helped my mother, a renowned gynecologist, reach out to different women with appropriate healthcare facilities, remotely. Technology became my strongest weapon in adding value to thousands of lives. I created a YouTube channel, GynaePedia, aiding my mother in utilizing digital tools to spread awareness about the most critical health mandatories, the prevention of cancers, and congenital birth defects. Today, the channel has 16k+ subscribers!
While these two achievements amplified my desire to contribute to the society, my passion for teaching made me successfully teach Machine Learning to all my teammates in Adobe, who were new to the concept. Further, to keep my love for debating alive, I joined the Toastmasters club at Adobe, and indulged in enriching conversations related to technology, products and cars. Undoubtedly, all these interests have helped me metamorphose into a better, well-rounded and confident individual.
